If you choose to light your candle, please keep in mind that because of its sculptural shape, wax will naturally melt and drip as it burns.

Burning Instructions
If you choose to burn your Cempasúchil Candle, always place it on a heat-resistant plate, candle dish, or tray before lighting. This candle does not have a vessel, so melted wax may drip beyond the base of the candle as it burns. Never place the candle directly on furniture, an altar, tablecloth, or another surface while burning. Keep the wick trimmed, never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials. Please note: Burning will change the shape and appearance of this decorative candle.
